Internship Opportunities

The Sumter Legislative Internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand valuable experience on how state government operates and interfaces with the other levels of government i.e., municipal, county and federal. Interns gain practical work experience through a variety of administrative and legislative responsibilities in the office.

Assemblywoman Sumter encourages all that are interested in an internship in the 35th District Legislative Office to submit their resumes. Students majoring in Education, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration and Political Science are encouraged to apply.
